Electrolysis
A permanent method of removing unwanted hair. The two methods available are Short Wave Diathermy and Blend. Blend is a combination of alternating current and a direct galvanic current. The Blend method is proven to be more effective and less painful.

Aftercare
Australian Tea Tree antiseptic lotion is advised for use at home after waxing. This can be purchased from the salon.
Tend Skin® Liquid
At House of Beauty we use Tend Skin® Liquid, a product that reduces the appearance of razor bumps, ingrown hairs and skin redness after hair removal. For women, it is particularly useful for hiding ingrown hairs and razor bumps on bikini lines, legs and underarms. The solution works within 24hrs, so you will quickly see the results. It can be used in combination with waxing, epilating, shaving and electrolysis.
Do not wash off after use and you can use perfumes or moisturisers on top of Tend Skin® Liquid after it has dried. It is recommended that Tend Skin® Liquid be applied daily after the initial hair removal.
Tend Skin® Liquid can be used before electrolysis as a cleanser and used afterwards to help prevent redness and bumps.
For waxing, you can ease the wax ‘pull’ by using Tend Skin® Liquid prior to treatment and afterwards to minimise redness and later bumps.
Cautions
Anyone allergic to aspirin should NOT use this product under any circumstances. Please read the label for more information.
Everyone else should test the product on a small area of skin. If there is no reaction after 5 minutes, then you should be clear to use the liquid elsewhere.
